This residence is located in the foothills of the Sierra National Forest. The existing outdoor space has tremendous views of the rolling, country-style landscape. The client wanted to re-envision the space, to design for entertainment space, outdoor spa, pergola, food forest (fruit trees, herbaceous herbs & veggies, and drought tolerant vegetation). The final design incorporates a neo-country-style garden with the following features: dutch white clover groundcover, fire pit & dining areas, outdoor grill station, hot tub, food forest, and native, drought tolerant plants.
