This residence sits on an unique hillside with an abundance of tree canopy to its immediate westside. Due to the grade change, a large retaining wall and patio was installed by homeowner's representative to maintain access to the residence to/from driveway while creating usable entertainment space. However, this left a visual barrier (with the wall facade) that they wanted to cover. The overall design concept was to install a native garden design along with a kids play area, paver driveway, timber steps, and other details.
